We’re nearly a month away from the release of Avengers: Endgame, and today, Marvel has shared the brand new poster (seen above) as well as an epic new trailer.
It once again begins with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) reflecting on the very beginning of the series when he first began his journey as Iron Man. The trailer gives similar flashbacks to the early days of Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) that work to great emotional effect, tying in to the impact that Thanos’ snap in Infinity War has had on all of those characters, as well as the rest of the Avengers team that remains: Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Rhodey (Don Cheadle), Nebula (Karen Gillian), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and Rocket (Bradley Cooper). And of course, there’s a brief appearance from Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) at the very end.
The big epic spectacle of all that has led to this moment can be felt in this trailer, which is astonishing, considering that apparently, Marvel has refrained from showing anything outside of the first 15-20 minutes of the purported 3-hour film in any of the trailers – which is the way that is should be done.
Avengers: Endgame will be released by Disney on April 26. Enjoy the trailer below.
