Trailer: ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’

Optimus Prime in a 'Transformers: The Last Knight' still

Like it or not, there’s a new Transformers movie on the way. Transformers: The Last Knight is the fifth entry from the series, and it’s once again directed by Michael Bay who claims this will be his last one, even though we have all heard that a few times already.

If you thought the last few movies were overstuffed, just wait until you see the latest trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight. We got Transformers in medieval times, Optimus Prime captured and set to turn on humanity, Mark Wahlberg getting a speech from Anthony Hopkins, who makes the dialogue he’s given sound way better than it has any right being. And Josh Duhamel is back for another installment; he’s seemingly going to outlast even Michael Bay in this franchise.

Then there’s the action, and lots of it, contrasted quite oddly with some rather dramatic music. Not to mention, the legendary main event that Transformers fans have been waiting for: Optimus Prime vs. Bumblebee.

Even without diving deep into the plot, you know what you’re getting here, and you’re either going to go see this, or not. Not much will change your mind, and it will still dominate the box office either way.

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters on June 23. Find the trailer posted below.
