Teaser Trailer: ‘Foxcatcher’ | Steve Carell Like You’ve Never Seen Him Before

Foxcatcher

Foxcatcher is high up there on my list of anticipated films of the year. It recently had its share of good and bad news. The bad news is the film has been pushed back from its December 20 release date to some time next year in 2014. The good news is that the teaser trailer is now available to watch.

Foxcatcher is the latest from director Bennet Miller (Moneyball, Capote), and stars Steve Carell in what looks to be a game-changer for his career. He plays John Eleuthère du Pont, a man who shot and killed an Olympic gold medal winning wrestler by the name of Dave Schultz, who is played by Mark Ruffalo. Channing Tatum also stars as Dave’s brother. The first teaser gives us our first real look at Carell, and it’s chilling stuff. It looks like an unsettling, truly defining performance for the actor, which will cause many to look at him through a new perspective.

If you weren’t already excited by the prospect of Foxcatcher, you will be after you watch the teaser trailer, which you can find below.
